You are not going to want to miss this opportunity to expand your toolbox and learn an Integrated Approach to Trauma and Addiction Counseling. The integration of trauma-informed principles into addiction counseling is gaining attention due to the interconnected nature of trauma and substance use disorders. You’ll be introduced to the C.A.R.© Framework and learn how an integrated approach can help you conceptualize and craft integrated treatment strategies, that will ensure your clients receive comprehensive care. Our training is enriched by experiential practice and offers practical applications that you can begin to use immediately.

You’ll understand how conceptualizing treatment using this approach can reduce distress and facilitate healing and recovery, helping clients achieve a greater sense of agency and resilience, moving towards sustained recovery.

Integrating trauma-informed principles into addiction counseling through a phase model approach not only addresses the root causes of addiction, but also empowers individuals to reclaim control over their lives. This comprehensive approach is essential for fostering long-term recovery and improving overall well-being.

This in-person training will be hosted in downtown Cumming and space is limited to 24 registrants.
